 Summer in Vienna

Be sure to bring swimming suits and a water bottle. It’s important to stay hydrated while you’re walking about the beautiful city, taking in the numerous outdoor events, attending Vienna’s famous gardens, museums, churches and theatres. This is shorts and t-shirt weather, with sunblock and a wide-brimmed hat a very good idea. With temperatures falling to the mid-fifties in the nights, those cool breezes you appreciated so much in the afternoon could feel a little too cold for comfort. It might be wise to carry along a light fleece or hoodie.

The average high temperature in a Vienna July is º77 (F)/º25 (C). The average lows are º55/º15, with an overall average temperature of º68/º20. Every July in Vienna there are an average of 18 days with rain.
