The Viennese are more reserved than let’s say other Europeans or Americans, so a good place to hook up will be at bars, or clubs where they are loosing up more. This doesn’t mean that they aren’t interested in getting to know anybody at all, but they certainly are less outgoing than Spanish people.
Ost Klub
The name already explains it- Ost is German for east and also the motto of this club. Come here to hear some of the hottest music from the Balcan, Orient, and Eastern European states. It’s also a popular location for live bands of all genres. The club itself is like a giant maze that will take you deeper underground.

Flex
The classic among all clubs in Vienna. It’s located on the banks of the Donau Kanal, fairly close to Schwedenplatz. There’s a café that’s actually a bar where you can drink and the actual auditorium that supposedly has the best system in all of Europe. The music played is mostly electronic, the audience young and trendy.

Chelsea
Supposedly the place to get to know people in Vienna, this bar attracts all kinds of people who love to come here to party. The music played is mostly rock music. It’s one of the most popular places at the Stadtbahnbögen, the best place to party-hop in general.

Another club in the Stadtbahnbögen area that also draws huge crowds on the weekends. Most of the time, there is a live DJ or live music animating the crowds to dance.

Empire club
Empire club is paying attention to the trends in the international club szene and successfully putting them into effect in Vienna. It`s a good place to dance the night away. There are several themed evenings with specials for drinks and free entry for girls until a certain time of the night, usually 11:30pm.
